Discovery for the redesign of its education service offer to deliver the outcomes
We led a multi-disciplinary discovery team through a number of fortnightly sprints at pace which helped us answer a number of problem statements we defined at start of the process.
By working at pace and using agile ceremonies ensured the team focused their effort on agreed tasks, that were managed using a Kanban board.
We also assisted the organisation to develop their Epics, stories, and timed sprint tasks to ensure team were kept focused and delivering new insight.
We also built several excel models to model the operational activities and course delivery, with additional modelling on how a multiplier and volunteer model could increase their educational offer reach even further within communities with local third sector partnerships.
This led the development of a new service target operating model and new team structure, with clear and newly developed multi-platform and user centric digital product portfolio, which included Alexa skills, app, website and downloadable tutorials that delivered a congruent and holistic blended learning education service offer, that fully aligned to the organisation’s newly focused strategy in reaching and impacting the most vulnerable groups in society.
Through modelling we provided a benefits realisation model that ensured further benefits and savings were achieved whilst increasing activity by moving to a third sector partnership multiplier / volunteer model.
